Passin' it on

I took my grandson out hunting today. He's 4. "He" found 81 cents in clad and "we" found what looks to be an old cosmetic tin. It's round with a fancy relief top and it's hinged. It's about 1 and 3/4 inches in dia. After a little cleaning I think it says Princess Pat on the front. The contents look like they are still inside. It may be copper as it has that verdi green thing goin' on. I dug this in a hamlet near here with the oldest structures from 1872 but not sure how old this thing is. Any ideas?

thanx,

Thanx Shooter.....

This is atypical of what I have. The lettering's a little different is all. I removed the makeup and cleaned it up. Pretty neat little item.
