Another solo hunt on my bike. I gridded very long to give myself a chance of something good but after 4 hours & the heavy clouds rolling in I called it a day.
OTWBTTB - I got my best button of the day, type I need - WWI Queens Own Dorestshire Yeomanry.

As well as;

2 Scrappies
4 Lead Token (I think my best 1 day total this year)
18th C Breech Buckle (Pretty sure its my first Gold plated version?)
Bits...

Thanks everyone, if it wasn't for the button that I got about 20 yards from the Bike, I would have been a little disappointed, as my target was 1 hammered or 5 scrappies.

Nice finds! Is there any way to get an ID on some of the old coppers we dig? Any tricks? I'm sure you've dug plenty...

Expect little or nothing and then you have a great hunt. Lol
Liking the crisp button a keeper for sure.

Honestly most of them I stick in the junk box/recycling, so I don't take time looking for details on near blanks.
