Not been out for ages. And to be honest not really felt the urge to. In over 30 years of detecting, never had such a lack of urge to detect ( very strange). Still did go out the other day, and enjoyed the short session. Here's the best of the finds. The round object is a Roman disc brooch, with traces of blue enamel remaining. The object with the face, is a Tudor dress fastener. The cut half hammered silver coin, is a king Henry 1247-72 cut penny. The portrait is nice and clear, and simply screams history. Hope to get a bit more motivated soon. Robert.

Strange.
Unless I'm confined to my bed, I can't get out enough. Although sometimes if the options aren't that great I'm less motivated.

I blanked on silver today, so I would have been happy to see that one.

You need your therapy mate. That old cut coin should be like medicine for you. I hope it fans the smoldering coals back into flames once again. You have too much history over there to let go undiscovered. :blob8:
