I found this one today when I was planting a mum for my mom. It kind of rough looking, especially on one side. It's perfect to me though. I looked but I can't find which type it is. Can anyone tell me? Yea! Finally.:hello2:

No idea on type, but that's awesome! I've been looking at the ground forever for a arrow head, can't wait till I finally find one.

Good luck! That is only the second on this property, it was very thick woods when we moved here. It was in the topsoil layer, within 4 inches.

Congrats on the beautiful point, not rough at all it's just the knapping of the point.

Congrats on a great looking point Flynn. Try posting it in the North American Indian Artifacts forum, and they will identify it for you in a matter of minutes.

So that I can tell it looks like a Palmer. I'm not sure. Thank you.

I would say Palmer or Kirk corner notched; it's definitely a very nice Early Archaic point. Congrats!
