I can’t believe it guys in 3 years never even imagined find one, now in have two. It’s took a pot of coffee and 9 hrs to do it but it got done. This one is a 56 caliper and I also got 1943 P, 1942 S War Nickels. Same spot as last time. It was 10” down. What a feeling being that deep not to mention the Max hitting it with the stock coil. My Thunder coil doesn’t respond well at all on the Max not sure what the problem is. Couldn’t hit a silver dime at 6 inches....that’s a problem. But once again what a great day I’m truly blessed. I have a lot of work to do this week so I’ll be working and resting I’ll keep in touch if anything changes. IMG_1298.JPG IMG_1299.JPG IMG_1297.JPG IMG_1295.JPG

Ammoman I see one in your future real soon I truly do. I’ve found well over ten war nickels this year. I’ve been lucky with those.

Relic it is a total rush when you’re 9” down already and your pin pointer is going off like crazy. It’s euphoric I’m totally hooked. I have to admit this section of the park looked like a Civil War was there when I left even with all my plugs covered :laughing7

Nice job! I dug my first war nick in 1980.Then...nothing. Until a month or so ago. Found a spot that gave up FIVE in about two weeks time. Good luck! 😁

Great Job Man. & 2 War Nickles to boot.

"9 hours" That's puttin in the work, Adrenalin helps :laughing7:

I did 7 myself on Sunday , I knew there 'had' to be something there, cause I found stuff there in the past, I finally got my prize a Fired Squashed Minnie :headbang:; Still got that rush to.

"10" inches WOW ,That looks like some pretty dry soil also.
When the Stars line up & the Soil is right I can get them that deep, but 3-8 inches are where I dig most + I hunt woods Mostly so with-out farming or trenches , flood plain they usually don't get that deep.

P.S. I had 1 year I found 4 War Nicks 2014 I think , but have dug none since then , got some from Coin Star Machines.:happysmiley:

Ill shut up , Keep those Civil War relics & Silver Coming, I love coins to. :icon_thumleft:

Congrats on your finds. You better edit your post though, because they didn't make a War Nickel in 1941 (I see it is a 1943 from your pic). Heck, we didn't enter the war until Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941 (a date that will live in infamy)
