These are pretty small if indeed they are little diamonds in this watch...They look to have cuts vs. being chips. and show nice color when I turn them in the light. I haven't gotten a close enough look to see if there are inclusions....but was still find to find in skateboard park. Found. 1945 wheat too.....and other bits of change in the drizzle. What could be done with this watch face? Thanks!

Udubb, Your round part looks like something off of an antique telephone. Cool digs! Sub 8-)

Thanks, Subterranean (nice name)...I thought it was a drain stopper...but neat that it might be a telephone part. Maybe the two holes that were made larger was a modification to hear better! chuckle...

What's the name on the watch? I can only partially make it out on my phone.

Nice watch. You could take it to a jeweler they can tell you if they are diamonds and the quality. Good luck.

Thanks scruggs. That would be interesting! I wonder if jewelers hate seeing us coming!

Hi Mzjavert!

Thanks. The name on the watch says "Caravelle". This site lists it as a "budget" watch so I am guessing they are not diamonds. Oh well. I have 't opened the watch to check the code date :).

I've spent about 40 minutes on Google images and only found one eBay entry for a similar watch with diamonds. So hopefully you scored the real thing.

Cool finds I have a few old watches nice piece of history. Would be cool to restore but very pricey I'm sure . Ive found lots of jewelery with small diamonds which unfortunately aren't worth anything. I was kinda surprised at that. Thanks for posting your finds!!!!!
