Went to a old school that dates back to early 1800's the school has seen all grades and at one time held an early college at the top of the hill. Me and my son have found a little from the different eras. It is well hunted out so we tend to try to figure areas most people skip. Some days we find nothing. This weekend I found several wheat pennies a glass marble which was in a hole with a square nail. Those darn square nails sound good one way but like trash the other way so being the land has history I dig them all lol. I found a Schrader 2 inch and a woven silver ring. The interesting piece I like is the necklace piece. It looks old was deep but I have no idea of its age or maker. If anyone has a guess let me know. Thanks for looking. Congratulations on rescuing the wheats, there might even be some silver left. Good luck on your return. Also, you did find an unhunted area there might be more!
