So today I went out detecting in the cold for 2 hours, the place I detected is an abandoned field from the early 1700's. It got abandoned in the 50's I believe. It's quite funny cause there's a small river that you have to get over to get there and I couldn't cross that river so I had to build a small 'bridge' of old trees. When I got over my 'bridge' I started detecting and my first find was a small lead bag seal from early 1900's:

After that find I walked away from that place and found a small jeans button (1920's to 1950's):

Then I just found trash and weird objects so I decided to give the first place a second try and I'm glad I did!

First find there was a nice small coin, a 1 Öre from 1902. (Last time I found an older coin was two months ago, Idk why I don't find many older coins...:dontknow:):

And the last find was the best find of the day, it was a very very nice pocket watch from the mid 1800's with gold patina left on it!:

Nicely done,, most of the time, my older coins are found at 7 or 8 inches. I don't know if the ACE 250 can detect a coin that deep.

Nice! That field looks like it might show some promise.
