Hello Everyone,

Today was a cold windy day and as I drove by a field where the farmer was cutting corn my eyes widened. So, I did what we all would have done…ask if I could metal detect the area. Finds were not plentiful, but nice given the short 2 ½ hour hunt. The AT Gold “got the nod”, with sensitivity set to max, iron Disc 10, iron audio on and a constant threshold in my ear. The keeper finds were as follows: 4 — teen wheat cents, Barber dime and a flat button. Of course the bag was filled with the usual iron finds (you have to dig the iffy and scratchy signals: two of the copper coins "rang up" in the high 40's :icon_thumright:).

Thank you for looking.

GL & HH

The on edge coin in the plug can be seen in photo # 2 in the left side-middle portion.

So hard to describe to a person who doesn't detect that feeling that we get when we see a farmer cutting a field. Excellent job on the permission and the finds. :occasion14:

Hello Loco-digger,

Believe it or not the AT Gold is excellent for field work.
