This was my second and last day on my new site. I hope I can get back soon to explore this virgin terrain. My opinion is that this site was abandoned before the Roman expansion. I have a lot of buzzy signals but I dig only the clear sounds. I'm planning to get back there soon and dig every single signal. I didn't have a spade with me and in some cases, after removing a little bit of soil I lost the signal. I'm not sure if they were small lead pieces or deep small coins.
Thanks mates for watching and thanks metal detector for existing :)

It looks like there's some gold on the bronze star. Not sure.

Thanks Loco. I have the 9 inch coil. Do you think it will be better with the bigger one for the deep coins?

My opinion was that the site was abandoned before the roman expansion but the third coin looks like a Roman one. It can be the doubled face of Janus, the God of the past and the future. I have to clean the others and check if there are other Roman coins!

No I think the 9" is fine, I was wondering if you were using the newer higher frequency coil. What freq are you running on the deus?

I began searching on 12kHz. The first day I found the small silver coin and I thought it was was better running on 18kHz. There's a lot of pottery under there. On 18kHz I can distinguish a coin from a pottery while on 4 kHz is hard. The pottery gives a straight very high and clean tone but with a light echo.

Awesome, more great discoveries! :occasion14:

It seems that the coin in image 2, based on the monogram below the horseman is an Antigonos II Gonatas bronze. Pictures of the reverse of the other coins you have the obverse image of would be great (plus more of any with details)!
