I went cruising today with my Omega version 6 and F75DST at a couple mid-fifties home sites. There were plenty of coins to found at one of the sites including a bunch of wheat pennies and 3 Rosie dimes. At the other site the coins were few and far between, but I did manage to find a silver 'what you call it' with the F75DST. I got a faint high tone audio response and the ID numbers were rolling around in the low to mid-eighties. I dug down and popped something silver out of the ground. I don't know what it is, but it's silver.

The weather was just perfect and the ground was buttery soft.

I had a version 4 also, but I like version 6 better because it handles EMI a lot better. Both LOVE silver and are super fun to use.

OK Tabman, lets delve into this silver medallion (we will call it that for now)...it appears to have a stylized version of the zodiac symbol for Aries on it, i.e., the ram's horns.

Would you kindly post a photo of the reverse of the disc please? It is gonna be one of the following, key fob, pendant, pocket good-luck coin, or brooch. The mystery MUST be solved, lol! Sub 8-)

Yep, gotta go with Sub on this one.

Throw it up on the "What is it?" forum.
Congratulations on your finds.
