I just saw your PM but just a little too late. Great find and I really don’t have too much to add considering the smart minds that already weighed in.

That said, I’d consider this rarer than a GW button. There’s a million of those, but these rarely pop up. And the history surrounding this man is incredible. Congrats on the Banner Keith.

This cuff links is pictured in Sullivan's book, American Political Badges And Medalets. It may have been a campaign item or inaugural momento for John Adams. It is a great find. John Adams pieces are tough to find.

Hi C, I found a cuff link near one of my battle sites, at the time of finding it it was perfect and had great relief, but I made that big mistake of rubbing it you can see the result ...But there is an image similar to yours do you recognize the character shown.....Bonz
