I dont know how many times that has happened to me Tom. Anymore, I think I should just leave after my first dig ! Congrats on the Shield. At least you can identify it.

One more shield nickel than I've got. Sorry about the silver dry spell today. Here's to a strong end of the year!

Even though she is a crusty one a shield nickel is a pretty special find.

We fisherman will always put a fish back in the water if it was caught in the first cast of the day.
Don't think I would of done that with a shield nickel thou.

Congrats on pulling your 2nd Shield nickel Tom. You one-upped-me. Sounds like you had a crew hunting the site. It's really nice of you to share your honey hole with others.

I felt guilty for having pulled 26 silver coins from the site, in less than three weeks, including 2 silver half dollars. The other boys all got silver coins, and other good stuff too though. We all look out for each other. It just works out better that way.

Thanks LD, I look forward to seeing you in a couple of months my brother, hopefully we will do well on our next little adventure together.

I hope everyone pulls some special treasure, but just hanging with the crew will be treasure enough.

I have done well lately, so it was good to see everyone else do well today.
