Woke up this morning to 14 degrees F and it rose to only 23! I just couldn't pass up the day despite the cold. I dressed for the occasion and headed out to the field behind the old school were I had found the war nickel a week ago. I found everything in the field with the exception of the catholic pendant. It was found along the edge of the side walk in front of the school using a smaller coil. In all the finds were a few clad pennies, a dime, a couple of trinkets, a wheat cent and the copper pendant. On the back of the pendant it reads "Our Lady of Mount Carmel Please Pray for Us." The camera couldn't pick up the writing. I'm very happy I decided to get out today. It was a cold but good day!

Nice finds, and glad you could get out. We never rose above -10 below 0 on New Years Day. It was a great day to stay in the house and read !
