Hey everyone,

Got out for a couple hours at my neighbor's house. It was built in 1900 so I had high hopes. I had their son join me as well. He joined me for a brief hunt this summer before we threw in the towel because the ground was too dry. Today was the opposite. It was wet and cold.

He is 12 and autistic but really enjoys detecting. I coached him up a bit and set him loose with my Bounty Hunter Quick Silver while I worked with my DFX. His second target was a 46S wheat, he was jazzed!

He didn't last too long because of the cold. I stuck it out a bit longer in hopes of finding silver but didn't have any luck. I did end up with a small pile of wheats though.

Today's Totals:
-6 Wheats (29S x 2, 30S, 44S, 57D, 58D)
-1930s Boy Scouts Pin
-Silver-plated spoon handle

Good luck and happy hunting!

Heck yea, Washingtonian...way to coach those kids! You just might have planted a seed. Keep mopping those wheats up and your silver will pop out! Ddf
