Hello Everyone,

Today was in the low fifties and I had to detect. With all the rain, snow and melting snow most places were full of deep mud, so I went to plan B.:dontknow: I have an older park not far from my house and figured why not. I was just glad to get out a play in the dirt. The ground was still frozen after about 4โ€, so anything today would probably be modern with some jewelry possibly thrown in for fun. This park has been hunted for years and has given up some very nice coins and gold jewelry, but not today; just clad coins. :icon_scratch:

Tonight it will be in the high teens againโ€ฆgo figure! :BangHead:

Thank you for looking.

It was ok here yesterday and today. Over 8" deep it was frozen. Big global warming chill coming in tonight so will refreeze, but I might be able to sneak in something tomorrow if it's in the woods.

getting out is half the battle, well, maybe just being able to dig is half or finding a place you don't need chest waders for the mud and water or..... but hey, you found some clad. don't know if it was enough for a cup of coffee, I don't drink coffee myself.

I'm with you Doc. After all the crappy weather we've had up here in Massachusetts, it's a joy just to get out digging for a couple of hours!

Hey Prof, I sure would settle for a pocketful of clad...glad to see you got out. Battery, gas or coffee money...it all spends! Ddf
