I remembered the old timer that used to bring a apple for me and my brother on our walk home from the school bus stop...He passed away a few years later and his house has been rented out for years, a friend of mine purchased the prooerty and I decided to search the old timers name and found out in 1940 he was married with 7 kids! I spent a few hours in the yard and found some success... my first silver coin of the year 1944 s quarter
The two decoders are "Radio Orohan Annie" promotional toys from 1939! I have already decoded all kinds of things with it. Haha

Thank you Mr. Wind and Big Wave Dave...
First time learning about these decoders, what a neat find to research, i thought, wow, this might be uncommon toy until I dug another one.

Every time I see a decoder it reminds me of Christmas Story.

“Be Sure To Drink Your Ovaltine.”
After drinking gallons of Ovaltine Ralphie finally receives his long-awaited Orphan Annie Secret Society decoder pin in the mail. After decoding his first message he finds out it’s only a crummy commercial telling him to “Be Sure To Drink Your Ovaltine.”
