Had a brilliant hunt yesterday with my dad at a site that had colonial, civil war, and early 1900's activity. Thanks to Addam's Relic Hunting Adventures, they're some fine folks for getting us on this property. The mild weather and the open fields made for a nice day spent in the Lowcountry.
Here's the lot
The porcelain button and the bottle were surface finds.
My first 1850's SC Button, Schuyler H & G / New York
This is the key cover of a padlock
This buckle as far as I know could go back to the 1600's since there was a very early site on the property.
My dad really has a knack for digging some good coins early on--he dug the Hibernia and didn't even know what it was. (just like me a few years back )
Thanks for looking, HH!
