This recap is from 4 hunts from late last week and the beginning of the current week. The wheats added to 9 pieces, 1919 being the oldest. Few 40s Jeffersons, and a 1925 Buffalo. The silvers are a 1944 P war nickel and a 1941 Mercury dime. The relics are a few broken marbles, an old put and take spinning toy. old silver plated at one time spoon handle. A really nice junker ring, probably my best junker design wise. Also probably the smallest pocket knife. Part of a great seal insignia? and other odds and ends. The last pictures is the mystery object, its brass, Its marked "E" on one side, any ideas? It has a barrel type hole, then a smaller hole on top of that.

not sure on your mystery object, almost looks like it's gas related, but then there is that loop? weird, good luck figuring it out.

Nice finds, I have to agree that you do find a lot of nickels, I like it!!
I don’t mind them at all, but really wish they were dimes from the same era.

Still trying to ID it, I’ll see if I can remove some of the rusted iron.

Recap from last hunts, some silver and relics & help ID a mystery item.

Gas or water valve related on the mystery item. The little hole on top probably had a valve handle. The big hole connect to pipe. Could be gas lantern or nozzle part?
