Can anyone identify this for me?

I found this in a remote area that leads me to believe it is natural. However, it looks man-made to me. It kind of looks like glass but is way too thick to be any normal glass that I have seen. It's not flat, it seems to have air bubbles in it. Thanks in advance for any thoughts. Jim.

Thanks folks. After posting here I found the rocks/gems forum and posted there. Can anyone identify this for me?

I tried a scratch test but it won't scratch with my Leatherman or a thumb tack and I don't have anything else to test with. I'll take it to a rock shop next time I go to town and ask them. Thanks again.

Probably glass as it doesn't look like any crystal structure I have ever seen, unless it's an aquamarine that got shattered. So my guess is that it's either glass or aquamarine.

Hi Folks: Finally got to town and to a rock shop. It's glass. Don't know how it got to where I found it, or how it took that shape, but glass it is.
