Barber dime, and an Elk!

I got out with my dog the yesterday and today for a couple of quick hunts before a storm rolls in. My dog hunts ground squirrels First silver coin in a long long time! The dime is 1911 and in pretty good shape. 1916 wheat. The P might be from Knights if Pythius I’m not sure. I thought I would throw in a silver buck I never posted from about 6 or 7 years ago to make the post a little more interesting. I’ve been trying to make sure my hunted out spot is hunted out but that seems to never be the case. I have donated quite a few Elks pieces to the local lodge, that’s where the small one will end up!! Thanks ATW and Truth. When I get my new detector I want to say I went to my hunted out spot, but it’s so trashy I think there will always be some keepers. Like it’s been said before swing speed, direction, how close the coil is and settings make a difference. I have been over that spot many times where the dime popped out

Hopefully it will melt fast and leave the ground ripe! We sure need the water the lakes are down I'll be skiing tomorrow with the family!!! I hope you get out soon Charlie!! I'll be getting a fancy new detector soon so watch out. I'll have more reason to go detecting!!!
