    Confederate Artillery Button

Hit the site I found the congressional button and found my first Confederate Artillery button. It’s dented a little on the front, but able to verify it by the size and makers mark on the back. It actually has some fabric still in the loop. Found some other cool things but nothing like this! It snowed here today and decided to go out anyway. Glad I did!

An Artillery "A" script ! Fantastic find.It was an honor to be a soldier and have that on his uniform. Not many survived so the push in the front in no way diminishes this recovery. So many great relic finds posted today and yours is one of them.
    Congrats!

Where I live everyone has a civil war cannon in their yard. I have never found one but it would make my season.
