Hi all;
I hit the mother of all coin spills today. $26.81 in a 4x4 foot square spot! Barley two inches deep under light mulch. All nice and shiny,couldn't have been there long. How someone could loose that much and not see it is beyond me !?! Especially since it was five feet from the sidewalk in an open area. 00.jpg IMG_20180212_192101328.jpg Sorry no picture of the spot , it was dark when i got tired of digging. Going back tomorrow to see if i missed anything. I'll update the post then.

You might have missed a can, jar, or pouch.
That's just too many coins to be in someone's pocket.
Congratulations

I've been to parks after festivals where crafts tables were set up and found one nice coin spill. One was a 1/2 roll of dimes(the paper gone) but they were still in order with several quarters in the hole. It's quite a surprise. Haven't been that lucky since though. Great find and Congrats. :thumb_up:

Could’ve been kids playing and that was their bank? Whatever it was there’s a lot of coins there man! 30 bucks in one spot...I’d take that!

Sweet finds. They don’t look like they have been in the ground too long. Hopefully it’s not a homeless persons bank vault.

Cheers
