Not bad for just around the house. Knowing your pulling that type of stuff out means if your on a old site next time with finds around then you’ll not miss the goodies! [emoji2][emoji106]

That nail next to the fishing bobber sure looks like a "square nail". If that's the case, it likely dates to the 1800's. I'd spend some more time in my yard if I were you!

There is actually a memorial plaque on the road where I live that says this area was a training camp for civil war recruits. I have other post where I posted some shotgun shells dated 1890-1910. Signals are very weak even with shallow target's. The soil is very mineralized and very trashy giving lots of beeps and confusing signals. I'm really lucky I think to learn this hobby in such horrible soil though. Have to be very patient using short sweeps and reading more than one beep. I'm not posting all the trash I find, and I find a lot...lucky this is my yard and I can hunt whenever I want to. Thanks for looking

If there's silver or gold in your yard, you will find it.
Especially with the short sweeps.
Congratulations

It looks like the item you are holding is an older lipstick tube. Could be some other relics out there.

I was thinking that too from other members that posted them.
