Got out early in the morning and found two sterling pieces back to back in the first 10 minutes of the hunt. The little ring came first, it was my third hole, the first two holes were trash. The fourth hole was the religious medal ( Sacred Heart / Mother Mary ), both pieces marked Sterling, man do i love that word. Nice 1945 P war nickel to add to the silver count.

The coins consisted of a 1916 wheat and a 1948 Jefferson.

These are some baseball related relics, the first piece looks old they came from different holes. It looks like a pin, I could not find the broken part. The penny size object says " Senior District.. Little League Baseball "

Two buttons, more modern as they are iron backs. The classic locomotive design and the other reads " Pace Maker ". The tombac is from a previous hunt, this came from the area where i dug the colonial wax seal.

Lastly some random relics, 2 marbles, a key and an unknown piece, a tact maybe ?

Thank you Tom I been wanting a sterling religious medal for some time now. My very first religious medal was a honker sterling miraculous medal and after I kept finding plated after plated, probably around 40 pieces and finally found my way back to sterling. Between those 40 piece I did get a small 14k Jesus Christ medal.

Congrats on all of your finds. I like the silver, but really like finding the marbles.

Very true love silver but those marbles bring a smile to my face every time I spot one in my plug or hole.
