A couple interesting barn finds....

I hope you like pics!! Been cleaning out my grandfathers garage/barn and have found a few things of note. The civil war tow hook posted in Whats This is by far the most interesting but here are a few more random things that some folks might like to see or chime in on... barely scratching the surface here...

The plane and wrench look a little damp because right before I took pics I wiped the dust and spiderwebs off them with a damp rag. I dont plan to take them any further except on a few of the old planes, which I plan to restore and use, including the old sargent scraper plane. That monkey wrench will look great in my shop lol.

An old butchers scale....



Old crosscut saw handle, and I do have the match. Looks like an atkins no. 10.

A very old looking piece of artwork that was in the place when my grandparents bought it in the late 40s/early50s. No name that I can see, and I'm too scare to touch it much because it looks so old....



a 27"x20" piece of tin. Maybe a roof panel? No idea but cool looking....


Power pole insulators, probably not too old, maybe 60s-70s?? I like it because it still has the bracket and wood....


An old reliable jack... i love this kind of stuff... tool junkie all the way.

I believe your painting might be by Charlotte Becker American | 1907 - 1984. I would defiantly take it and has it appraised.

That's some neat stuff! Reminds of some of the things I have found over the years that hang on my barn wood relic wall .. a wall dedicated to that type of stuff!

Thank you guys! I'm definitely going to have to look further into that picture, as well as a few other things. I could do this every day of my life. I have a feeling I'm not alone on that thought here
