We researched a new park with a huge amount of wooded area and a handful of old 1800's lost farm sites.

Wasn't sure if the sites would be picked over or virgin ground, you never know til you hike the woods. Big problem right off, zero cell coverage meant we could only hit the sites off the paths that we could find from some print outs we had.
First good signal for me was an old watch covered in mud (everything was covered in mud today). ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1518997672.014519.jpg

After cleaning I was a bit surprised with the little diamonds and the 10k stamp!
I've seen this piece posted before , I think it is horse tack? Anyone know what it was used for?

Found my second gas valve has a nice design,

This padlock cleaned up pretty good and I think is my favorite find today. I see a couple for sale on eBay but could not find date or mfg data online.

The flat button is probably the oldest find.

Anyone know what this is from?

Nice going on the 10K watch and the other assorted finds. The lock is a nice piece as well.

That bling is very nice. I also really like that old lock, that would look nice in a display case with all your best stuff.

Very nice hunt, I am with the majority in that the bling is nice but the lock is really cool:thumbsup:

You salvaged your day with some with the watch and the padlock.
Even though those house sites were hit before, I'm surprised we couldn't pick more good targets out of the trash.
