I went to 3 different areas this weekend.

Saturday

The first area was a dud but I was trying to find a site off an old road in semi thick terrain. Leaving there i hit a wooded site in an old neighborhood that I found 8 Wheaties earlier this week. I came out with 4 more wheaties and a 1944 Merc.

Sunday

Today turned out to be a good luck kind of day. I randomly searched the Seldom Seen woods. Last year I pulled a printing plate, 1 Indian, and 3 LCs. Today I found an old pin, I think a silver plated spoon, my first ever skeleton key, another toasted LC, a wheatie, a toasted buffalo, 1906 Barber Dime, and 1942 Merc.

Coin finds (Wheaties not pictured, all common dates)

Now I'm packing for a Florida vacation. I'll be catching up with everyone's posts soon, looks like a lot of us got out this weekend. Thanks for looking, good luck out there.

Yeah especially since I was aimlessly searching. I found the largie at the same spot I found the others last year. Seems like a very old pocket spill but I find one each time I go. There's a huge tree over the area which is annoying. I also found an old miners pick buried at that spot. Good thing about the city is anywhere can produce.

Already 5 silvers on the year which is busy for me. I have a list of other sites I've been meaning to visit before the growing season starts, March should be productive as well.

Thanks, I'm sure you'll make it some day. I wasnt even in the area where the old houses were located, mostly because of how thick the area seems to be. I was on the hillside above the parkway west/banksville rd.
