Once again I decided to try my luck at Skinner Butte Park in Eugene Oregon today. Several of us in our detecting club have hit this park hard the last year ~ we've dug several silver coins, Indian heads, and wheats. Today I dug a 1964-D Silver dime, 1952-S Wheat cent, a little pocket knife that has "Kanne & Jones" printed on the handle, and a little over $1.00 in clad. Nothing too big of a deal, but still fun digging!

Nothing to complain about there. 8) Congrats on the wheatie and silver. Any idea what Kanne & Jones might be? If not, you might check your local library in the old Polk directories. They may show a little about the business, if it's local.

You must have found that dime in a 2 by 2 coin holder. It looks like a proof coin. I wish I could find one that nice. Good job.
