Hey all,

Went back to my neighbor's 1905 house that I started hunting on Monday. Glad I did!

About 20 minutes in I'm getting a scratchy high tone but am digging just about everything at this point anyways. Was happy to see some silver in the hole! It's been two and a half long weeks since my last.

Thank God it is Canadian. A 1965 U.S. dime wouldn't
have done me any good.

Here are my total finds from the day:

Wheats are: XX, 41, 44, 44D, 51S, 53S x2, 56 D, 58D x2

Canadian Dime is a 65.

I cleared out as many nails as I could because they have two young kids and asked if I could do that. These neighbors are sweet as could be. They were so excited for my finds and kept saying what a cool hobby this is. When I gave them the 1910 Wheat I found Monday in a coin holder with a note they were so thrilled that I got a hug. Wish I got more permissions like this!

My brother and I are at 21 silvers and 101 wheats already this year. We didn't hit these numbers until late October last year so we're pretty excited about what this year has in store!

All in all a fun afternoon hunting.

Good luck out there folks!
-W

Congrats on the 80% silver dime. You are wrong though. An American dime would still have been worth 10¢

Sweet! I've yet to find any Canadian silver. Or any USA wheat penny older than 1936, for that matter. Nice job!

Good point [emoji106]

Congrats on the silver, and I'd like to boost her standings a little bit more.

[h=3]10 cents 1965 prices and values[/h]The value of a canadian coin depends on several factors such as quality and wear, supply and demand, rarity, finish and more. The melt and minimum value of a 10 cents 1965 is $1.27.

Nice job Washingtonian. You guys are off to a great start. I have had only 2 outings so far this year. The weather finally seems like its going to stop snowing, and the temps are warming up. I'll be out soon.
