Finally got out with my new XP Deus today. (sold my AT Max) Being in Connecticut in winter is not good for Metal Detecting -
Practicing using the factory settings and hit a deep target— at almost 12 inches i hit a 1840 Large Cent

Looks like it is possibly a vintage garter clip for women's hose. Warren makes all types of clips for overalls, suspenders etc.

Nice finds JSS - love the 1840. The unknown sure looks like a bottle opener. I can make out "warren" and "1890" but what is the other word?

Congrats on the xp........I see the max did not last long . Huge improvement in weight your arm back and shoulders will love as you are seeing . I was going with a church key also but I think sleepy nailed it . Looks like a suspender clip or the likes of .
