Had a great time on a group hunt near Charleston today, which got dominated by lead finds. Here are a few of the finds.

Great finds! What did you clean the button with it looks amazing.

I soak them in hydrogen peroxide for a little while then rub baking soda when moist to see if there is any gilt. Rinse and let dry completely. Then coat in Vaseline a let sit for an hour or longer. Then wipe with cotton cloth or towel.

I will check on it while it’s in peroxide and brush with an old tooth brush to determine if it needs to stay in the peroxide for longer.

Civ lead is always cool and a carved bullet is very cool find too. the button looks very nice too
