thursday and friday finds , another ring !

well its been a busy week but we did get out some thursday and friday we found the usual twist tops pulltabs and tin foil nails and well the list go's on and on but we did make some good finds, wife found a pocket knife a whatzit that i think was a hubcap center at onetime and she found a silver ring that looks like pearls in it but i'd say they are fake but still a nice looking ring, and i found a toy car a fiat made in england by lesney company and what looks like an old broach of some kind ! also 2 wheat pennies that looks like a 1914 and a 1918 but not sure of either date hard to see the dates on them, also a 1939 nickle that looks very nice, and $6.02 cents in change , looking to get out more this weekened, thanks for looking

got to looking at the ring with a magnifying glass and it says 18k HGE on the inside so i'm thinking its white gold, the pearls looks like the tops of them have pealed some so i think they are fake also has what looks like 2 diamonds one on each side of the pearls

Whew! That ring is a beaut! I think real pearls will deteriorate if not taken care of & I think burying them is not taking care of them. I could be wrong...I think fake pearls would fare much better under ground than real ones.

thanks prober for the info she may take it somewhere and try to find something out about it Thanks Bdoo, its been a fun couple of days, we have been doing alot of research and talking to people and getting some tips on future places to hunt (old abandoned farm houses way out in the woods) hopeing to have some good hunts this fall
