She rang up like a silver dime. You can see why :)

It was like the twilight zone seeing that big rim under the roots and dirt.

I hunted for a long time and then headed back to the car, and I just trusted my instincts to hunt right where this half dollar was.

Thanks for looking.

Also, she’s weights 8.3 grams

THANKS!

I looked for a moment for the chain. Also, it was under a nice cluster of roots, so it couldn’t have been that recent of a drop.

The site is an old golf course :)

My girlfriend says it’s my best find - she likes jewelry and stuff though :)

WOW Your Diet Half was cut out using a diamond wire. This was very popular and craft and flea marts in the 70's. I believe I still have one that I received as a child. The artist would drill a small hole and insert the wire and bus out the hollow sections right before your eyes. Who could resist one of these babies?

And as the artist, you get payed to collect junk silver as the byproduct.

Anyone need this done to their silver? I work for free lol

This is so amazing! I have one of these that I bought at a store 25 years ago. I thought it was so cool and what precision and time it must have taken to do this. Unreal

That’s a pretty cool find. I wonder what someone would say if you tried to spend it?
