Certainly not a day full of treasures
and precious metals. :dontknow: Still,
there was such a variation in the finds
that it kept me interested. I kept saying,
"HUH!?!?" soooo many times today! LOL

I was walking around a stand by "clad-farm"
of mine. So, finding an occasional old bullet
isn't too much of a surprise. But, all these!?

So, you might ask, what's with the brick? ;)

Well, I got this signal, see? I dug down and
this stupid brick was in the way. So, I set
it aside and tried the pinpointer, nothing.
I used the detector to see where it went.

"HAH!", I said, "You can't hide under that
brick!"

Got out the pinpointer again, nothing! :dontknow:

"What the .....?? What're you? Stuck on the brick?!"

Tried the pinpointer and sure enough, it sounded off.
But, when I finally found the target:

At first, I thought it was a bullet that had buried
itself in the brick. I thought that was pretty
neat but once I got it home I saw it was threaded and
was brass/copper. :BangHead:

Oh well, at least it'll add a brick's worth
of weight to my scrap brass bucket. ;)

The kids seem happy enough, I got out, enjoyed
the walk. Things could be worse. :)

Thanks for peeking!

That's one of those double surprises, the first time you dig it, then when you actually find it, hiding!

Glad you got out for a detecting stroll. I want to go tomorrow but theres just a little too much snow still sitting on the ground.
I may hit the coinstars.

Looks like you're still the favorite human of those two.

That's a good amount of lead, most of which looks like it hit some kind of target.

Well sir, the days get longer and warmer we hope. The worms are busy pushing all those goodies closer to the surface, among which is your round golden prize! [emoji4]

Now a bullet in a brick would have been great. I have found one civil war bullet in cedar or maybe the extinct chestnut trees. Nice day to get out!

Glad you got your walk in Whadi. I have needed additional therapy and have been going pretty much all through the winter unless it was dangerously cold. Your targets are interesting indeed. I always enjoy digging lead bullets. Glad ya' got out and enjoyed the hunt.:hello:

That's some good variety.
I've heard of "Goldbricking it,, but I think you gave it new meaning.
Congrats on getting out.
