Yep beautiful weather down South today just perfect. Went to another spot and got me a 1920 Buffalo, a awesome white clay marble which I love to find, a small wheel of something cool, old green wheat and a old silver plated fork. One day I’m gonna get that silver fork.
Well it’s not much but all mine :)
Thanks for letting me share.

Brought me back to my AA meetings lol

Love finding bufflers and marbles too. Only ever found one marble in a hole with something else, little girl came over to see what I found and pilfered my marble so I still don't have any marbles, lol. I think that wheel thingy is that rope pulley that went up the inside of Windows on old houses for the window weight.

Hey it was around the spot where a old plantation used to be. Found it by that tree. You know you never know. IMG_2507.JPG

That looks like a really nice site to detect. GL&HH

Don

It is a beautiful site to hunt but it’s been pounded since the 70’s and being a old park it has it old trash and the new. Rarely ever find a silver but I get my share of mid tones shotgun shells and nickels. I guess they were to spoiled for that. Lol

It’s a 1300 acre park

That’s my favorite by far. It’s my fourth one averaging 1 a year. That’s pure Lady Luck, but I'm a great believer in luck.

Clay marbles are always a nice surprise. Take all the nickels you can and a gold ring or two. Cherry picking silver hoarders have done wiped out most public parks. Unless you have some steep slopes or brushy areas. Nice finds from a hammered park for sure.:icon_thumright:
