Winds were still humming this AM but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway. A fair amt of heavy tgts higher up but couldn't really do much in the water with the surf so high up. Even at low tide it was still slamming into the sea walls in some spots! Not a whole lotta coins but as many of em won't survive the trip through a coinstar machine I was much happier with the gold and silver! The ring rang up as a 7 on the Equinox and is a whopping 0.7 grams of 10k. 2 silver rings followed by a Russian coin, I believe a one ruble. Glad to see more gold finds from everyone else the last few days. This one is in memory of Stu "Superman" Lewis! Miss ya already buddy! Summer won't be the same!

Just a quick question if you don't mind. What program were you running in, Beach 1 or Beach 2 or? I have an Equinox ordered and it's on the way.......And, if you were running in Beach 2, how was it in the actual ocean? I'm heading back to Mexico in May and I always take my Excal...AND, Congrats on the finds.

Hope I didn't bother you with all the questions, Thanks, Dirtdiga

Been running it in Beach 2, Fe volume 3, recovery speed 3, sensitivity between 15-20 depending on how much iron is in the area.

LOL Yeah, If you are worried about getting it dirty or banged up, then you probably are missing some good stuff! I figure it's already found it's replacement value in gold and silver so if I beat it up past it's warantee, I've already got money for a replacement!
