I've been getting to the beaches almost every weekend but haven't found anything exciting just clad. Today though just before I left this new beach I was working I dug a 1904 v nickel. This is the oldest coin for me so far. Its in pretty good shape for a beach coin. I don't have any pics yet but will try and post later.

That's awesome! I've yet to find my first V nickel, so congrats!

Congrats on your oldest coin Rusty. I usually soak old Nickels in Olive Oil for a week or so. It may bring the date out better for you.

Nice going Rustycap! When you're getting old coins like that, you never know what's going to come up in the next scoop. Here's hoping that there's an old silver in your future.
