I got a chance to hunt a new permission. The fellow who owns the house, lost a Gold chain and medallion while playing football on the front lawn. (Many, many years ago).
I knew I would have to dig all foil and Pulltab tones but from the amount of pulltabs coming to the surface, there was quite a bit of other activities going on. I kept digging pulltabs, clad, and if it sounded like silver, I went after it.
About a half-hour into the hunt, i dig a 1946, first year silver Rosie. Another hour of clad and pulltabs and I get another sweet silver signal. I sink the Lesche, and out comes a 1964,. (Final year Silver Rosies)

I didn't find the Gold Necklace and Medallion, which means I'll just have to go back and Dig some more.

Appears you did your best in trying to find his lost item and congrats on finding two silver dimes in the process.

Hey ATW...Cool stuff! Finding those 2 Roosevelts is very neat...if u study them long enough, keep looking back and forth, there appears to be an age progression between the 2 profiles...it's probably just my old age and wild imagination, lol. Congrats! Ddf

Congratulations! I like the symmetry between the dates...1946 and 1964. :icon_thumleft:
