Found some old coins, from my family

man I got to take a pic of this, I have Indians pennies, buffo nickel's, quarters & all coins and a 50 dollar bill from the CWar, from the 1800 to 1964, man I have so many now.

Does anyone know what coins that are rare, like dimes, penny and more, what year should I be looking for?

make me a list of coin types ---like say---- 1925 indain head nickle "s"mint mark-- which is worth at min about $5 in "good" 4 condition accoprding to my whitmans "red" book 2005 ed--(basically the lettering and dates readible) -- alot of the value of a coin depends on its rarity and its condition--- the more rare the coin is and better the condition its in --- the more its worth as a rule --- (provided you casn find someone to buy it that is ---coin dealers will never give you near the "full" value of a coin) --- they sell the coin for "full" value --the differance is their "profit" --so they have to give you less to make money on the sale -- Ivan

When you figure out what you have... take a look at ebay for current prices... books are a great resource for price guides..

indian head "cents" -- were made 1859 to 1909 --- must be a 1903 indain --min value in poor shape is at least $1.75 * better shape means more money of course -- condition is highly important -- that said -- sounds like you got the beginnings of a great collection there. Ivan
