Well, the weather turned cool here in Kansas this weekend but I couldn't take it any longer. Had to get the 3030 out for a walk. Was 41 degrees, and windy but didnt seem to bother the CTX. I hunted for about an hour at a spot I've hit several times and didnt have any luck so I decided I would go over to the yard I hit that Washington quarter at last week. Thought I might get lucky again . AND I DID. I started off slow but hit the watch fob at about 8". It has the Great Seal of Missouri, 1820 in Roman numerals, on the back it reads 14K gold plate over Genuine Copper. Went along for about 30 minutes then hit the two Wheaties ,pretty close together, about 4" deep. One is a 1945, cant read the other one yet. Decided to hit the curb strip in front of this yard, found $.87 in clad. Started working my way back to the truck and got a 11/41 signal but sounded good, out pops the Schrader valve. It is stamped "Patented April 30, 07, Universal Valve". I thought it was a lipstick tube when I found it. Went about 30' and got a 1139 reading but a PURE SILVER sound. When I pinpointed, it read 1/45 at about 6". HMM, I have to dig that. Out pops this 1858 Canadian Dime. What the heck is that doing in Kansas ? lol. My FIRST Canadian silver, 92.5% and it is in EXCELLANT SHAPE. WAHOOOOOO !!!!!!! I am tickled I got out in the nasty weather . I ran the CTX in Coin, +3, Heavy Trash, Fast On, Combined Tones.
Hope you enjoy, I know I sure do.
