Brian before you select a picture to post, try reducing or cropping the size of the picture. I found that when posting a picture from my cellphone, I must reduce the size of the picture first or it will post sideways.

I don't know much about these things but I thought it was to do with the orientation of the camera?

Well put together Brian, they really show off a lot of history in the three displays.

Very nice display cases. With my phone, I always have to face the phone side to side for the picture to post right side up. If I hold the phone right side up, the picture always posted sideways. Took a few pics and postings to figure that one out.

Very nice finds Brian! :occasion14:

I put a lot of those cases together and donate them to local schools for history lessons. :icon_thumleft:

Brian, there's a couple of issues that are causing your pics to show
up sideways, etc.

One is the image size..two of your pics are near 5MB in size..
no need for that size of image for regular use. The images are
roughly 4000x3000 pixels, and all you need for on-line
use is 1000x800 (or thereabouts).

Your camera's software can make many adjustments to an image.

https://docs.sony.com/release//DSC-HX50_HX50V_EN_ES.pdf

You're probably set at the largest image size, and if you change it to
a smaller image size you probably won't see a bit of difference in image
quality, and the file size will be greatly reduced.

This image was 1.6MB, and it's now 916kb:

DSC00218-2.jpg

This was 4.94MB, now 864kb:

DSC00220-2.jpg

This one 4.7MB to 730kb:

DSC00222-2.jpg

You can also resize images very easily in Paint.

Nice displays...lot of work involved!
