Need help with the brass button says 130 years on it The ring might not be a ring that you wear because t IMG_0855.JPG he inner ring turns and can't find any marking on it. don't know what the heavy bronze might have been. I also have no idea what the barrel might be from. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Barrel thingy is a ram rod guide from a gun.

What is odd is what looks like a tombac button with a fox. But this are normally incised decorated & yours looks cast, whats the back look like?

''brass button says 130 '' Is off the back of one of those badges to keep it falling off. You pinch it & slide it on a spike & it holds it.

Yes, what CRUSADER said. In the Army we called them "dammit's" because they often fell off more than what they were securing to our uniform. The ring is a jewelry ring, called a spinner, although it's hard to tell from the photo what it's made of. Probably junk metal like every one I've found so far.

Yep, a spinner. The two I found last year were unmarked, but tested negative for precious metals -probably stainless. I've yet to find one that's precious metals.

And yes to the "dammit" :)

I would also like to say that I think that bronze piece was ripped from a larger piece. Got no clue what it was.

As others have said it clips to the back of military campaign ribbons and rank pins such as my old Army rank pin shown here. 20180420_130010.jpg
