I live in British Columbia Canada and went out yesterday with a friend to hit some house demo sites.

Well I did not do very well a lot of fairly new clad and some other small items. But man did my friend find what I consider one of the coolest finds ever.

He found a late 1950's or early 1960's metal ford car that is about 18 inches long and in excellent condition. We could not find any maker marks but I will research it for him. My pictures are not that great sorry I will take some better one and post later.
This thing is dam cool.

That definately takes the cake for coolest "toy" find in my book. 18 inches long? How did that one ring up on the machine? I need to start disciplining myself to dig some of those larger signals. Great find!

Well I can already tell you that it's not a Ford...

It's a Chebby Bel Air two door!

Very nice dig!

My grandfather daily drove a baby blue 6 cylinder 1955 from the early 60's until his death five years ago :'(

The three holes in the hood are where the unique hood ornament used to be ;)

I have done a little research and the car is a 1956 Ford Fairlane there is one on Ebay right now that is like new in the box the buy now price is $1600 US.

I guess the one my froend found is likely worth $300 to $1000 would be my guess
