5 Times a Silver!!

I thought my run was over today. Managed 25 minutes of hunting before the clouds opened up........and I hunted until the first big drops fell!!
It wasn't a good day for coins. However there were a few items of interest..........



The jewelry pieces are silver and gold plate and the top is the 3rd from this yard and 7th overall.

Well, the weather cleared, but it is also my son's birthday..........so, it seemed the streak would be over.
On the drive home from the party I went through the local park and noticed that some excavating work had begun. It was about 20 minutes before sundown. I pulled the car over and looked.......



Yep.....you guessed it........I grabbed the Compadre out of the back and..........that's my equipment in the background.



And, that's a nice little coin spill...........



3 wheats, 1944 P nickel, 1919 Merc and 1954 Rosie........
The 5th consecutive day of silver.........sure hoping this streak continues for a little bit longer.

Thanks digger, No gold and Trezure......This is only the 2nd time I've had the opportunity to hunt through a fresh excavation. Now I need to find out where they dumped the dirt they removed!!

I was shocked to see those silvers in one hole, Hawks. They took out about 12" of top soil. I figured on maybe a stray coin or two, but........really!?!
