Health issues and bad weather on my days off been keeping me from getting out
Hit cold water at pounded beach at low tide - slow going - everything faint and deeeeep
silver ID bracelet went off as a "ghost" signal ... I always fan these to see if signal gets solid and louder
it did and was glad I went for it - bout an ounce of silver - got a few silver crusted dimes and finally
got a gold class ring - 1953
Funny thing is - I got a ring pretty much identical except for the date (it was 1956) last Fall
there - brass tag was interesting - has 1956 on it with a C.P. under it - I thought at first it was a dog license
but think it might be a beach tag

Very nice Casper. When I am at the beach I dig all signals no matter how deep or faint.

Very nice Casper. When I am at the beach I dig all signals no matter how deep or faint.
I primarily try and hit old beaches - this place gets hammered during the season and after labor day they really pound it systematically
but most are going for fresh drops - not all know that this spot holds a lot of deep older stuff - you have to hunt all metal and slow
Ive gotten a lot of silver halfs from the depths here (along with other silver and older gold)
- so many are swinging to fast or have their discrim. cranked and they are losing depth
I found 2 pull tabs and they were in close and shallow - no junk out where I was - no reason to use discrim.

Here is one I got from same beach last year in same area - I was a little bit deeper this time with negative tide
I don't know the school though - T could be town name - could be Technical HS - mascot is an owl - if I find the school
can try and make returns

Just realized the difference between the 2 is that the side emblems are reversed - 1953 owl is on the other side
