    At least a couple of thousand coins.

    Found on farmland this week. can't say too much as they are at the BM in London for conservation etc etc, could be even more than 2000 . They all seem to be late 3rd century bronzes with radiate head. unfortunatly wont know much more for quite a long period but will keep you posted.

    Wow. Here in the U.S. we are elated finding coins 200 years old. European hunters wonder if their find is B.C. or not. I'd love to go hunt there sometime. Thanks for sharing your pics with us!

    Big congrats! That's freaking awesome. I bet these are waaay more than 2000 coins. If i remember how small the pile of our 500 coin hoarde was....
    You guys are so lucky to have very little plough, ours lay over an area of 1/8 of an acre....Vote is in!
