I found this button from the 1812 war here in Canada I have spent many hours looking for it and the regiment but nothing comes close.
..It says..."Royal CT Ranger" ...not! Rangers! ...HH....Bonz IMG_4029.JPG

Stimated Friends, this button is from "Royal Etranger", one infantery regiment of Joseph Napoleón King of Spain (1808-1813). I´m secure, but is very rare that you find it in Canada!! This regiment was created in 1808 and dissoved in 1814. I attach other button photos of same regiment, all find in Spain: 2hh17k1.jpg french-napoleonic-royal-etranger_1_59e46a1bbc565df5f08ea4ee5f5bd610.jpg joseph-bonaparte-king-spain-1808-1813_1_b409004fc661934be8127785ecc20c2a- 16 mm.jpg real extranjero otro.jpg s-l1600 26mm.jpg very-rare-button-military-royal-real-etranger-17982874.jpg
