Went out to a place I haven't tried before with my friend Ray and had a very nice day! Ray grabbed a mercury and I managed to dig a 1914 D Barber Dime and a 1910 D Barber Quarter! ( My first!) I also had my heart stop for a second when I saw a gold coin at the bottom of a hole that turned out to be a 1940 New York Worlds Fair Token that was in fact not gold. (Look at how good that thing looks sitting in dirt!) We both also dug a pretty good handful of Wheaties and clad. Can't wait to get back out with Ray. I think he is my good luck charm.! You are in an area for Barbers, Not much gold circulated back east though. Very nice finds.

Very nicely done ! Congrats on your first Barber Quarter, the dime, and your "almost gold coin". That token is a very nice piece even though it isnt gold.
