Did the best I could posting the photos. Found it on the beach metal detecting on Saturday. Couldn't get a clear image of the clasp. One side says N-925. The other says TURKEY. Nothing indicating it's gold plated. Thoughts?

It's likely gold vermeil. That's when sterling silver is plated with a thick layer of 14-24k gold. You see it on nicer jewelry (but below pure gold) since it lasts a little longer than standard gold-plated with non-precious metal cores. That's a nice find though, very pretty piece.

I have a piece of 925 that is gold plated. Nice and heavy too, confused me at first.

Well done sir!
